The Czech office of Booking.com has moved to a new location within Prague to Na Příkopě 14. The new office will support Booking.com services on the Czech and Slovak market. The reasons for moving from their previous office on Havlíčkova Plaza were the expansion of Booking.com and the desire for an updated design of the office. The new office is around 600 sqm large and can house up to 36 employees.

Ta si klade za cíl nabízet lidem zajímavé destinace a místa k pobytu, umožnit pohodlné cestování a doporučovat to nejlepší, co lze ve světě vidět a dělat. Společnost, která vznikla v roce 1996 v Amsterdamu, dnes zaměstnává přes 17 500 lidí ve dvou stovkách kanceláří v sedmdesáti zemích celého světa. V Praze se přesunula na novou adresu Na Příkopě 14, ze které bude obsluhovat český a slovenský trh. Důvodem odchodu z původního místa v budově Havlíčkova Plaza je jednak expanze společnosti, ale také touha po designově hezčích kancelářích. Ty nové mají plochu zhruba šest set metrů čtverečních a pracovat v nich může až 36 zaměstnanců.

Prague, October 21st, 2019 – Domestic demand continues to be strong; however, economic growth across European countries is slowing down gradually and, as expected by senior supply chain professionals, it will influence future export levels. Nevertheless, companies still see the potential for further growth. These are some of the findings from a new survey carried out by CBRE, the world’s leader in commercial real estate services, P3, the industrial developer, and Analytiqa, the logistics and supply chain research agency, and titled “Logistics & Supply Chain Confidence Index 2019/2020”, in which 50 key managers from logistics, production and retail companies in the Czech Republic participated. 43% of the companies interviewed expect higher profits in the year ahead and 59% of respondents expect their turnovers to increase. These conclusions are positive in spite of the fact that most companies expect more challenging conditions in the market during the next twelve months, which is reflected in the confidence index itself that is 43.3. This indicates a mood of caution among companies.

Praha, 21. října 2019 - Domácí poptávka zůstává i nadále silná, nicméně ekonomický růst napříč evropskými státy postupně zpomaluje a podle očekávání odborníků v budoucnu ovlivní i náš export. Přesto firmy ještě vidí potenciál pro další růst. Vyplývá to z Logistického a dodavatelského indexu spokojenosti 2019/2020, který pro lídra v oblasti komerčních realitních služeb CBRE a průmyslového developera P3 zpracovala výzkumná agentura Analytiqa na základě vyjádření 50ti klíčových manažerů logistických, výrobních a retailových firem v České republice. Až 43 % firem v letošním roce počítá s vyššími zisky a 59 % respondentů předpokládá, že se v příštím roce zvýší jejich obrat. Tyto závěry jsou pozitivní i přesto, že většina firem předpokládá během následujících dvanácti měsíců náročnější podmínky na trhu, což se reflektuje v hodnocení samotného indexu spokojenosti na úrovni 43,3. To poukazuje na ostražitou náladu mezi firmami.

Prague 16th October 2019 – One of the most prominent and architecturally interesting buildings on the street Na Příkopě has changed owner. It has been acquired by Mint Investments for its private clients. The seller was represented in the transaction by CBRE. Mint Investments is currently preparing a major technical infrastructure investment programme to make the building future-proof.
